Mindful, Kindful Living
Life doesn’t always go as planned. We get stressed. We react. We miss the exit. And sometimes… we forget to be kind to ourselves along the way.
Welcome to Mindful, Kindful Living — a podcast for people who want to slow down, laugh at their humanity, and live with more mindfulness and compassion.
I’m Connie Warden, mindfulness teacher and author of Speeding to Compassion, and each week I sit down with thoughtful guests to explore real-life stories — the messy moments, the turning points, and the small shifts that help us move from reaction to reflection.
This podcast is for you if you:
- feel the pressure to be perfect
- know that your health is your wealth.
- want to respond to life with more calm and clarity
- are curious about mindfulness in everyday situations
- or simply want to feel a little more at ease being human
We talk about things like emotional intelligence, stress, relationships, resilience, and self-compassion — all through the lens of real stories and honest conversation, with just enough humor to keep things light.
New episodes drop weekly on Wednesdays and each one is an invitation to take a breath, reset, and gently steer back toward what matters.
If that sounds like something you need, hit follow, and come join us in Mindful, Kindful Living.

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to be kind and compassionate until someone cuts you off in traffic, or maybe the person in front of you is actually going under the speed limit? Hi, I'm Connie Warden, and I'm the one who's... Hi, I'm Connie Warden And what if the most radical thing you could do right now was to be kind to yourself? Not perfect, not enlightened, just a little gentler, a little more willing to laugh at your own humanness instead of beating yourself up for it. I'm Connie Warden. I'm a mindfulness practitioner, an acupuncturist, and a yoga nut, and honestly, someone who can still has to catch yourself from being a jerk sometimes, especially in traffic. It's hard, and that is actually how this podcast came into being. I actually wrote a book on my journey after I was a real jerk to somebody on the road, and the book is called Speeding to Compassion: Life Lessons and Humor to the High Road. And it talks a lot about being compassionate with yourself, laughing at your humanness, and If you have the grace enough to have some self-compassion for your jerkiness, for not being a perfect human being, you have a much more grace with other people. And that's where Mindful Kindful Living Podcast has come in. I created it so we could share our stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things out into the world So story by story and heart by heart, this is how the world gets a little kinder. That's my biggest wish for this podcast, is that there's a ripple effect that people are more kind to themself, have more self-compassion, and then it ripples out to the others, into the classroom, into the relationships So thank you for listening to Mindful Kindful Living podcast trailer. So let's take a deep breath, be a little kinder with ourselves, more compassionate with others So until next time, be mindful with yourself, kindful with others, and gentle with the beautifully imperfect journey of being human
